  Do you ever worry about cleanliness in dental offices? We understand your concern. Our state-of-the-art sterilzation center is centrally located and open to allow you to see for yourself how we carefully clean, disinfect, wrap, and sterilize our instruments between patients. You can rest assured that we go to great lengths to ensure your safety and cleanliness is our top priority.

  At Dental Arts we take our commitment to continuing education and staying abreast of the latest techniques and materials very seriously. The entire team regularly attends dental education seminars and fulfills their professional requirements. • Dr. Tarun Agarwal

  Dr. Tarun Agarwal has been providing “world class” cosmetic & general dentistry and changing lives right here in Raleigh since 1999. You may recognize him from numerous television appearances on News 14 Carolina, NBC, ABC, and CBS. He has also been published in News & Observer, New You Magazine, Triangle Business Journal, Triangle Luxury Living, and Business Leader on the subjects of cosmetic dentistry, teeth whitening, and dental management.

• Melissa Hayes, RDH

  Melissa was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. She graduated with a BS in Dental Hygiene from UNC Chapel Hill in 2001 and has been with Dental Arts since 2003. Melissa and her husband Chris welcomed Andrew Lawson Hayes to their family in September 2009.

• Tracy Reitz, RDH

  Tracy was born and raised in West Milford, New Jersey. She attended Hygiene School at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and has been in the hygiene field since 1991. Tracy has been a resident of North Carolina since 1994 and resides in Wake Forest. Tracy joined Dental Arts in September 2009.

• Melinda Byers

  Born and raised in California, Melinda, her husband and two children moved to Raleigh in 1995. Melinda graduated from dental assisting school in 1977. For the next three decades she was either raising her children, working in a dental office, or as an artist under contract for the art publishing industry. Her work can be viewed at mbyers.com.

• Elizabeth Owens

  Liz is a true North Carolinian, born and raised in Raeford, NC. Liz graduated from UNC Greensboro with a BS in Textile Design and Marketing. She relocated to Raleigh in 2003 and worked as a retail manager for Ann Taylor. She then decided that she wanted to pursue a career in the dental field and completed the UNC Dental Assisting program in 2008. Liz has been Dr. Agarwal’s lead assistant since.

• Danica Dale-Maritzer

  Danica was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. She graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Arts, and then from Concordia University with a Master of Education. She had been working in the dental field for over 20 years as a Business coordinator. Danica and her husband Mark relocated to Raleigh in 2005 and she has been with Dental Arts since January 2008.

• Cynthia Harris

  Cynthia, our newest team member, joined Dental Arts in January 2010. She was born in Panama City, Panama and raised in Eagle River, Alaska. She moved to Raleigh in the summer of 2008. Cynthia has been working in the dental field for 3yrs as a scheduling coordinator.
